Super Lawyers are selected through fellow lawyer nominations and evaluations. Also, the Super Lawyers staff researches the lawyers as well. Lawyer candidates are evaluated on 12 indicators of peer recognition and professional achievement. Selections are made on an annual, state-by-state basis.
Rising Stars are Super Lawyers who are under the age of 40 or who have practiced less than 10 years.
