Feds to Investigate Fatal Webb County Bus Crash

A bus crash near Laredo, Texas on Saturday, May 14, 2016, has resulted in 8 deaths and multiple injuries.

Casino Bus Trip from San Juan to Eagle Pass

The bus traveled from San Juan, Texas and was headed to Kickapoo Lucky Eagle Casino in Eagle Pass, Texas when it reportedly crashed and rolled over on Highway 83, near Laredo, Texas.  Victims of the crash were reportedly pinned under the bus, while others were ejected.

OGA Charters was reported as the operator of the bus.

Many of the victims were reportedly Rio Grande Valley-area employees.  The names of the deceased have been identified by the Laredo Morning Times.  Link to article here

Federal Investigation Into Cause of Bus Crash

The cause of the bus crash will be investigated by the National Transportation Safety Board.  The NTSB conducts independent investigations of all civil aviation crashes and major vehicular accidents.
